DuPont offers many
configurations and options for Level A protection. The two
shown here (TK554/555 & TK612/613) are the most common.
The main difference between these two is the TK554/555 have
Butyl Gloves and the TK612/613 have Muli-Layer Laminate Neoprene
Gloves per the NFPA standard.

- Encapsulated Level A garment design is our highest level of protection from liquid splash and vapor/gas exposures for both the wearer and respiratory equipment.
- Double taped seams provide strong chemical resistance
against heavy liquid splashes. A sewn seam is covered, both
inside and outside of garment with compatible
chemical-resistant material by heat-sealing.
- Expanded EX faceshield provides wide 220 degree viewing
angle.
- Vapor tight, extra long zipper.
- Expanded back to accommodate SCBA.
- Attached internal gloves composed of five layer laminate
film for a broad range of chemical protection.
- Integrated socks composed of garment material.
- Two exhaust valves release higher pressure inside
encapsulating garments while simultaneously helping to
prevent inward leakage of external vapors or particles into
the garment.
- One-way valves are positive pressure and open on demand.
Valves include splash covers made of barrier material to
help prevent liquid intrusion. Valves are located on left
back of head and right lower back.
- Each suit has a unique serial number and is fully tested
at time of manufacture including positive air pressure
integrity testing per ASTM F1052.

The DuPont� Tychem� Universal Pressure
Test Kit is designed for testing all DuPont� Tychem� Level A
ensembles according to ASTM F 1052, Standard Test Method for
Pressure Testing Vapor Protective Ensembles, or the method
described in 29CFR1910.120, Hazardous Waste Operations and
Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) and EN 464, Determination of
Leak-tightness of Gas-tight Suits. The kit can be used with
other Level A garments fitted with Pirelli or Auer exhaust
valves.

- Self-contained blower unit.
- Pressure gauge (Magnehelic) calibrated to 8 inch water
gauge pressure.
- Timer.
- Four metal bayonet-style connectors: two marked with the
letter �A� for
Auer, and two marked with the letter �P� for Pirelli.

- A large diameter corrugated hose.
