Ultra Violet
EXcluded? All UVEX safety

- Uvex offers a variety of coatings and lens which
can be confusing.
- As with all personal protective equipment, it is
the employer's responsibility to conduct on-site or
workplace hazard assessment, but here is some basic
information on the different types of lens & coatings UVEX
offers.
Lens Types:
- Clear lens are best for indoor applications.

- Uvex Ultra-dura anti-scratch
coating: It is one of the toughest coatings in the
world. Permanently bonded to the lens, it wont rub or wear
off, and provides superior scratch and chemical resistance.
- Uvextreme
anti-fog coating: Some anti-fog coatings absorb
and release moisture. Some repel it. Uvextreme does both.
And it wont wear off. Which means when the temperature and
humidity spike, Uvextreme keeps you seeing clearly, even
under extreme conditions.
- Uvex Dura-Streme
technology: Two coatings on one lens. It has the
Ultra-Dura Anti-Scratch coating on the outside, and the
Uvextreme Anti-Fog coating on the inside.
- SCT Reflect-50:
Special lens tint using Spectrum Control Technology
for indoor/outdoor applications. This technology
provides smooth transition when workers move from
indoor/darker to outdoor/sunny environments.
