• These respirators operate from high pressure plant air systems, low pressure  pumps (must be Grade D or better) or bottled air.
• The air is delivered to the breathing area of the worker's hood, helmet or facepiece.

• 3M L-901 Speedglas helmet replaces the L-501 and L-701 helmets which have been discontinued.

3M� Air Supply Hoses

• High pressure air hoses have 3/8 inch inner diameter, equipped with MPT on both ends to accept 1/4 inch FPT fittings.
• Low pressure air hose has 1/2 inch inner diameter and is equipped with MPT's on both ends to accept 3/8 inch FPT fittings.
• Low pressure hose can only be used in single lengths.
• Hoses cannot be combined.
• Hose length in 25, 50, 100 ft.
• Coiled hose can only be used in single lengths.  They cannot be combined.

3M� Air Filter Regulator Panels

• The employer is required to ensure that the compressed air used with any supplied air system meets the requirements for Grade-D breathing air per the Compressed Gas Association Commodity Specification G-7.1-1997. In Canada, refer to CSA Standard Z180.1, table for the quality of compressed breathing air.
• IMPORTANT: These filtered regulated panel products do not produce Grade-D breathing air.
